Stormy and Tater the Goblin

Another quiet weekend for us here at Loam's Down.
Weather was chilly-but-nice, so we went shopping on Saturday.
[livejournal.com profile] stormsongk and I loafed around the house late in the afternoon.

In the evening, Stormy looked out the window and noticed the sunset. He ran outside and said, "Let's go!" We raced down to the river to take pictures in the fading light.
Stormy and the sunset
When [livejournal.com profile] enemyfrigate arrived, she asked if we'd taken pictures at sunset, so of course we had to show them off. Then we talked about cellos, cheese, and pr0n. Specifically, music that she liked to write to. Stayed up entirely too late and had a wonderful time.

On Sunday, we stayed close to home. Went out briefly for takeaway, then took a nap. In the afternoon, I did a little gardening (knowing it was going to rain today). Rescued my 'Key Lime' daylily from the invasive weeds and moved it to the raised bed. Then weeded the raised beds and pruned the thyme, sage, chives, and walking onions. My hands smelled wonderful by the time I finished. I tried to leave a few sprigs on each plant so I can use them in my stuffing for our Thanksgiving feast this weekend.

Lovely pics, as usual. I wish I had a beauty spot quite that close so I too could do a photo series (though I haven't as photogenic a mate as you).

Looking very forward to this weekend and spending copious amounts of time with you and everyone.

And inflicting Wolverine (Origins) on more people.

I'd love to photograph that salt marsh on the way to the old barn. Especially at sunrise.
