What did you do in 2016 that you'd never done before?

Took part in Inktober.  I did 13 drawings before a bout of depression stopped my energy and creativity.  Also, I registered to vote and exercised that right.

What was your favourite moment of the year?

Finally seeing The Cure play live after listening to their music for nearly 30 years.

What was your least favourite moment of the year?

enemyfrigate's mom's passing.  She was dearly loved.

What would you like to have in 2017 that you lacked in 2016?

A new septic system for my house.

What places did you visit?

We travelled to beautiful western North Carolina for a friend's wedding.

What dates from 2016 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

June 22, 2016.  The Cure.

What was your biggest achievement of the year?

Facing my fear to draw the "scared" prompt for Inktober.

Did you suffer illness or injury?

I've been pretty healthy this year.

What was the best thing someone bought you?

stormsongk got me lots of cool stuff.

Whose behaviour merited celebration?

My family all got along this year.

Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?

Everyone who voted for Donald Trump.

Where did most of your money go?

Food.

What did you get really excited about?

Art and travel.

Cooking, drawing, and gardening.

Being depressed.

Supernatural.  The Sense8 Christmas special was really good, too.

Queer and Pleasant Danger by Kate Bornstein.

What was your greatest musical discovery?

Twilight Sad.  They opened for The Cure on tour.

New glasses.

What was your favorite film of this year?

Ghostbusters was really good.

What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?

Insulation in the walls.

How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2016?

I'm not allowed to wear t-shirts to work anymore, so classy, casual-professional.

What kept you sane?

Hobbes.

What political issue stirred you the most?

The fight against Donald Trump.

Who do you miss?

Badger.

Who was the best new person you met?

A whole gaggle of new friends in North Carolina.

What was the best thing you ate?

Wild-picked chanterelle mushrooms, battered, fried, and spiced.

I also got to taste apple pie moonshine.  Sublime.
