So very proud of my home state.
Last night, Maryland became the first state to approve an equal marriage law by popular vote.

Maine and Washington state also approved equal marriage laws.

It's such a huge change in my backwards little state. *shakes head* I never thought I'd see this in my lifetime. (My father is homophobic.)

There are no words for all the things I feel.

This new law is a glorious thing.
