Quiet Ending

Things have been quiet round the house.
We did hear back yesterday from the engineer who is designing our new water system. The design is finished and has been submitted to the County and the State. He heard back from the County, which made approving noises. Now we're waiting to hear back from the State.
It may be a while...we live in a "critical wetlands area".
Cross your fingers, all.
I'd like a working water system in place before winter sets in.
And here's a pic I took last week at the river.
