Passing Thoughts

Goodness knows I'm not the type to write down thinkies on every little thing.
But after last night, I feel I have to write something.
I've had a little more than 12 hours to collect my thoughts.
Those who know me, know that I obsess over the characters in my chosen fandoms.
They're real from the moment they spring from their creator's mind.
Ianto Jones is dead.
Ianto was one who truly caught my heart.
He wasn't perfect but he knew who he was and what he could do.
He loved with his entire heart, sometimes when it wasn't a good idea.
And he had the courage to follow that heart even into unfamiliar territory.
I loved him for his snarky wit, his stripey suits, and his confidence in the face of the overwhelming.
I wish he could have seen the beauty of the universe beyond this tiny little planet.
I hope that he knew that he was loved.
Farewell, Ianto Jones.
