Weekend Ramble

On the way home from Saturday morning errands, I spotted some narcissus blooming near an old homesite. 

I pulled over to take a closer look and found that they were single, creamy-white flowers and were very sweet-smelling.  They reminded me quite a bit of 'Thalia'.



So I swiped three small bulbs, took them home, and heeled them into the garden bed.

Then we headed out to pick up enemyfrigate and went antiquing for a few hours.  I found a DVD of Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog for cheap.  Shiny! 
From there, we headed out to the farm to say 'hello" to the horses.  I met a police horse named Shadow (who is handsome, but not a redhead) and a sweet old pony named Annie.  ♥

As the afternoon progressed, we migrated toward the ocean.
I spent quite a while photographing the surf.

When we got hungry, we found a pizza place and settled in for supper.  Then we went down to the inlet to watch  the sun set.  
We finally got home around 10 and collapsed into bed.
