* Grab the nearest book.
* Open the book to page 56.
* Find the fifth sentence.
* Post the text of the next sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
* Don't dig for your favourite book, the cool book, or the intellectual one: pick the CLOSEST.

Well, page 56 in my book only has 5 sentences, so here goes:

"Let's put on some clothes and face the day."
  - Captain Jack Harkness
  Almost Perfect by James Goss

That's a maxim for life: "Let's put some clothes on and face the day."

You know he's serious if he's actually talking about putting clothes ON.

Glad to see you breaking in your LJ. :)

I won't spoil the premise of the story, but Ianto *really* doesn't want to face the day. Or anyone. Including Jack.

Ianto is dead embarrassed.

The first book I tried had two whole sentences on Page 56, so the second book was Mansfield Park by Jane Austen.
"No, I dare say, nor if he were going to be gone a twelvemonth, would you ever write to him, nor he to you, if it could be helped."
Hah, boys and girls, huh?
I've been scanning round your journal and you seem fun, friends?
