New Years meme 2013
What did you do in 2013 that you'd never done before?
Helped demolish my sister's kitchen to prepare for remodelling. Lots of dust and an unexpected bee nest.
I also learned to keep aquatic plants.
Visited Long Island, New York for a Doctor Who convention (cosplaying as Doctor!Donna).
What was your favourite moment of the year?
I expect tonight (New Year's Eve) will be pretty memorable.

What was your least favourite moment of the year?
When I lost my wedding ring for three weeks. It was on the floor of my car.
Also whenenemyfrigate was slicing potatoes for our Yule supper and cut off the tip of her finger. O.o
What would you like to have in 2014 that you lacked in 2013?
A new septic system for my house.
What places did you visit?
We went to the Smithsonian to see a Pre-Raphaelite exhibit. Mind-blowing.
What dates from 2013 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
None, sadly.
What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Cooking more.
Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing too bad...just a cold from Thanksgiving 'til Christmas.

An instruction manual for a knitting loom, a book about cave art

My family all got along this year.
Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
A coworker looked at a picture of my family, saw Badger, and exclaimed, "Who's that woman?!?" So rude.

Food.

I started keeping fish again in May after years without them.
