Day 4 - What you ate today


Actually I've been pretty terrible about eating today.
So far, just a cup of yoghurt and some cheesy puffs.
I have pasta in the fridge, but don't want it.

So instead, I'll talk about all the wonderful foods I've eaten in the past week or two.

My extended family has had a couple of meals together over the past couple of weeks, so eating has been good. 
A breakfast-y luncheon at Frigate's house consisted of bacon, sausages, smoked ham, and eggs.  And as a much-belated birthday cake for me, we made gluten-free spice cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.  Plain spice cake wasn't enough, so we added a carrot, pecans, and extra spices (candied ginger, clove, nutmeg, and allspice) to the batter.  They were delicious.

I think next time I will add dried currants as well.  YUM.
