lazy Sunday
We've been having a lazy Sunday here at Loam's Down.
It's been raining most of the day and our garden has been visited by all sorts of critters.
There's our resident bunny, who keeps an eye on our clover.
And the wild turkey stalked around the back yard a few times today. She's getting bolder.
I hope that some day she will not mind our presence when she's about.
Despite all the rain, the plants in the raised garden are still doing well. The sage is taking over, the lavender is about to bloom, and the poppies are nearly ready to pop. :)
The roses are continuing to rock.
'Variegata di Bologna' and moss rose 'Alfred de Dalmas':
Yesterday morning, we went to the farmers' market and found a new rose called 'Ebb Tide'.
Stormy said the fragrance kept teasing him as he carried it around for me.
It's really lovely. What is this fascination I have with purple roses?
Every bouquet I've carried to work lately has left a faery trail of purple petals...
